In 1984 when we started the studio, our aim was to demonstrate how design can actually make the world an easier place to live and to work. We wanted to show clients how good design can package communiques, making them easier to digest and quicker to understand. 22 years later, we're following the same star. We stlll like working with text heavy documents. Unlike many of our competitors, we don't do retail and we don't do packaging design. Our love, and expertise, is using design to transform complex data into bite-sized chunks of information, using whatever media is appropriate. Of course good design should be imaginative and creative – that goes without saying – but we also believe it should be disciplined and relevant.
