The client
The Victorian Department of Education provides the Government with policy and planning advice for the delivery of education and training.
The objective
MBd was commissioned to design an education kit about Anaphylaxis – to hold posters, booklets, factsheets and a demonstration epi-pen..
Anaphylaxis is a severe, rapidly progressive allergic reaction that is potentially life threatening. The most common allergens in school aged children are peanuts, eggs, tree nuts (e.g. cashews), cow’s milk, fish and shellfish, wheat, soy, sesame, latex, certain insert stings and medications.
The process
A series of books, brochures, posters and information packs was developed to be distributed to every school in Victoria.
The outcome
The colourful illustrations and bright blue package stand out on the shelves making it easily accessed for vital information on Anaphylaxis.
