Western Water
The client
Western Water is one of fifteen Victorian rural urban water and sewerage authorities formed under the Water Act 1989. Fully owned by the Victorian Government, it operates under a Board of seven government-appointed directors.
The objective
The aim was to produce a report that could be used to explain the environmental activities of Western Water, as well as being a resource for senior students in the region.
The process
The source material was used as start point for brainstorming a range of presentation methods. The material was then structured into 'bite sized' chunks that could be displayed on screen as an interactive pdf. The information was analysed and divided into sections that made it easy to navigate. A package design was produced to make it easy to mail as well as having 'shelf appeal' in the school library.
The outcome
The CD has been taken by a number of Western Water's divisions to be used with school and community groups.
