The client:
The Energy and Water Ombudsman (Victoria) (EWOV) receives, investigates and facilitates the resolution of customer complaints about electricity, gas and water companies operating in Victoria.
The objective:
The 2009–2010 financial year was EWOV's biggest year yet – they finalised and closed more than 38,000 complaint investigations. The role of the report is to explain how they managed the increased workload.
The solution:
The figures showed a busy year, but we wanted to communicate EWOV's upbeat spirit – by the end of the year they were in new offices and had new branding.
The cover is a montage that uses EWOV's mission, vision and guiding principals with elements of the new branding.
The brand colours are used throughout the text pages. Graphs, charts and diagrams were used extensively to help readers understand the story behind the data.
